Positioned within the quiet, tree-lined streets of Kirribilli, this apartment renovation reimagines a compact footprint through a lens of clarity, warmth, and thoughtful restraint. The design responds to both the character of the building and its harbourside context, creating an interior that feels calm, layered, and quietly refined.

The project focused on improving spatial flow and functionality while introducing a softer material palette that enhances the natural light throughout the home. Carefully considered joinery and integrated storage were central to the design approach, allowing the spaces to feel open and uncluttered while supporting everyday living.

A tonal palette of warm neutrals, natural textures, and subtle contrasts brings depth and cohesion to the interiors. In the kitchen and bathroom, simple forms are elevated through refined detailing and materiality, creating spaces that feel both practical and enduring.

Throughout the apartment, the design balances simplicity with warmth, allowing the architecture, light, and material selections to work together in quiet harmony. The result is a home that feels composed, functional, and intimately connected to its setting in Kirribilli.
