OUR PROCESS

Initial Design Consultation

During the Initial Consultation we discuss your ideas, goals and what you are hoping to achieve. This includes a 1.5hr on-site meeting to discuss the scope of works, the estimated fees and expectations on the project timeline.

Together we outline the scope of works for the design and explore the project capabilities. Following our consultation, we will create a customised project fee proposal for your consideration.

Concept Design

Every project begins with a clear and compelling vision. During the concept design stage, we establish the creative foundation of the project, shaping the overarching philosophy, spatial intent, and design narrative that will guide the entire process. This stage allows our clients to see, feel, and understand the direction of the space as it begins to take form.Through careful spatial analysis and thoughtful planning, we explore how the home can function more intuitively and beautifully. We refine layouts, consider circulation, and uncover opportunities within the architecture to enhance both flow and experience.

As the concept evolves, we develop the core design language of the project, material direction, atmosphere, and visual references that capture the essence of the interior.

Design Development

During the design development phase, we refine the vision and ensure every element is both considered and achievable. Working collaboratively with the broader project team including the builder and relevant consultants, we resolve the design in a way that maintains the integrity of the original concept while addressing the practical realities of construction.

At this stage, the interior is explored in greater detail. We develop 3D visualisations that help bring the design to life, allowing clients to experience the atmosphere, scale, and materiality of the space before construction begins.

FF&E Selection

Every detail from finishes and fixtures to lighting, equipment, hardware and window treatments, is thoughtfully considered.

Through a carefully managed procurement process, furniture and accessories are sourced to complement the interior, creating a fully layered and refined home. The design is translated into a comprehensive set of documentation including technical drawings, schedules for materials, fittings, and equipment ready for pricing and construction, ensuring every detail is executed seamlessly on site.

Documentation

Every interior is brought to life through meticulous documentation and considered detailing. Our expertise in space planning, custom joinery, and interior finishes ensures that each element is clearly defined, functional, and beautifully resolved.
